About Fairly basic tech

I love technology, but it sure can get complicated quickly. Let’s break things down to a basic level. But we’re not going to get TOO basic, because that would be boring. These videos are for people curious about how to use their computers in ways that may have seemed out of reach. Topics I want to cover include Linux, virtualization, and powerful free open source applications. If you’re unsure about what those things even mean, that’s okay! I’m here to help explain and show why these things can be fun to learn about and use. I’m always open to suggestions for other topics, too. I aim to do it all in a straightforward – “This is what you need to know and nothing more” – style.
